MY

Why

My name is Chloe, mum of two, Rosie and Daisy. Wife and founder of Wonder Tots. 

Wonder Tots was born from my own journey as a mum and a passion to give little ones the freedom to play, imagine and create in a space designed just for them 🎨🌈

With two little girls close in age, I spent a lot of time at baby and toddler classes eager for my children to socialise and explore and for me to connect with other mums. Those experiences inspired me to create a calm, welcoming space where children can play freely, build confidence and learn naturally through play.

With over ten years of teaching experience, I carefully plan each session to support early development in a gentle, child-led way. 

Wonder Tots is more than just play… it’s about nurturing wonder, sparking joy and inspiring tiny minds in big ways 💫

BEHIND THE

Wonder

Wonder Tots was created with a simple intention… to offer something a little different from the typical toddler session.

After 10 years as a primary school teacher, I know how powerful early experiences can be. But I also know that little ones don’t always thrive in loud, overstimulating spaces. So, I wanted to create an environment that feels calm, welcoming and thoughtfully prepared.

The lights are gently dimmed, not to make things sleepy, but to soften the space. It helps reduce overstimulation, supports focus and creates a sense of calm where children can truly settle into their play.

Each activity is carefully planned but intentionally open-ended. There’s no “right way” to explore at Wonder Tots. Toddlers are free to dive in, follow their curiosity and discover at their own pace. 

Soft music plays in the background (often a little chill-house. I apologise in advance for my taste in music!). Sometimes I mix it up to match the theme, but the aim is always the same, to create a relaxed atmosphere that feels different from the everyday rush.

And most importantly, Wonder Tots isn’t just for children.

Grown-ups are gently encouraged to step into their child’s world; to sit alongside them, notice the small discoveries, join in the play and enjoy meaningful moments together. 

Wonder Tots is a friendly, supportive space where childhood is honoured, curiosity is celebrated and families can slow down …even just for a little while!

Belle is my third child so I have done all of the different classes throughout the years and Wonder Tots is by far our favourite! I really love that it’s completely child led so there’s no pressure to get your toddler to sit and follow a particular structure which can be very stressful. Every week Chloe sets out different, inviting areas for the children to play and explore - I don’t know how she thinks of them all!
